  • Job Details
  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
  • Travelers must be able to titrate drips!
  • There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
  • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Active BLS certification
    • Active ACLS certification
    • Active AZ license or compact
    • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
    • Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 max attempts)
    • Pass/fail Sim lab on day one of orientation
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts, 7-7
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
      • Floating is required between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses
      • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start
      • Floating to different units mid-shift can happen

        • Tele B3A: CV Tele B3A, 32 beds, Ratios: 1:3-4, Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment
        • Tele Neuro: A3 Neuro, 28 beds, Ratios: 1:3-4, Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment
        • Medical-Surgical C5: 32 beds, Ratios: 1:4, Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients
        • Medical-Surgical B2C: 29 beds, Ratios: 1:4, Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients
          • Additional Details
          • MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS!
          • Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses.
          • Distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles. Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes.
