  • Job Details
  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
  • Travelers must be able to titrate drips!
  • There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
  • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Active BLS certification
    • Active ACLS certification
    • Active AZ license or compact
    • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
    • Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 max attempts)
    • Pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
    • COVID vaccine or declination form required
      • Schedule Information
      • Floating is required between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses.
      • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floating to similar or lower acuity units is required.
        • Common diagnosis/types of patients include post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam PRIOR TO SIGNING CONTRACT (2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer.
          • If traveler fails, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months for CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions.
          • There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If traveler fails Sim, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months.
