  • Job Summary: ED Holds/Tele position at Chandler Regional Medical Center
  • Requires strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years of experience
  • Nurses will care for ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the past 6 months
    • Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer
    • Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians' orders and parameters
    • RNs required to titrate drips
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts (7a - 7p or 7p - 7a)
      • Ability to self-schedule, subject to change
      • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
      • Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with the permanent staff
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 shifts orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at primary campus
        • Floating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC EDs as needed
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS and BLS required
          • Common titratable drips include Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone
          • Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips; no monitor tech in the ED
          • Will care for patients from the ER waiting on a bed in the hospital
