  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience and be able to titrate drips. There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.

    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 max attempts)
    • Completion of pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
    • Ability to titrate cardiac drips
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts. 7-7
      • Every other weekend
      • Floating to similar or lower acuity units
      • Floating required, including between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses
        • Unit Specific Information
        • CV Tele B3A - 32 bed unit requiring BLS, ACLS
        • A3 Neuro - 28 bed unit requiring BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
        • MedSurg C5 - 32 beds, Ortho, Surgical, Oncology requiring BLS, ACLS
        • MedSurg B2C - 29 beds requiring BLS, ACLS
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
          • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor
          • Common diagnosis / Types of patients include post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, Neuro post surgical, spine, CVAs post TPA
          • Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units
          • Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses
