Compensation:



--- Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 (DOE)
--- Monthly Bonuses based on performance
--- Origination Bonus: A percentage of any matter you bring into the firm

Responsibilities:

--- Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
--- Consult clients about your plans for distributing their assets
--- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
--- Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
--- Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current
--- Assist clients with estate administration process, whether probate or trust administration.
--- Experience helping business owners plan succession plans.
--- Experience with guardianship/conservatorship proceedings.

Qualifications:

--- Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
--- Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years is required
--- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
--- Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
--- Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
