  • Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
  • Strong cardiac tele background required.
    • Schedule Information
    • 12 hr shifts (7a - 7p or 7p - 7a)
    • Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time.
    • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
    • Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with the perm staff.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Will float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC EDs as needed.
      • Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips. No monitor tech in the ED.
      • Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 shifts orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at primary campus.
      • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy

        • This is a TELE POSITION, REQUIRING TELE SKILLS.
        • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
        • There is a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).
        • Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital.
        • May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
