  • Job Details
  • THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience.
  • Travelers could also float to the sister facility if needed.
  • Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage.
  • Flexibility is a must.
  • Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
  • Pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided).
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
    • Job Requirements
    • Full 3 years of recent ICU experience.
    • Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV.
      • Schedule Information
      • Self scheduling, with the manager able to balance shifts for unit needs.
      • Expected to work every other weekend, with potential up to 3 weekends a month.
      • May be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Surgical ICU - Trauma Neuro Surgery with 32 beds and Nurse:Patient Ratios of 1:2, 1:1.
        • Medical ICU - Medical Cardiac + Overflow with 36 beds plus 12 bed overflow unit, Nurse:Patient Ratios of 1:2, 1:1.
        • RNs required to titrate drips.
        • No additional call/standby shifts required.
        • Float between all 3 ICUs.
        • Scrub Color: Navy.
          • Additional Details
          • Experience with trauma, neuro, and specialty devices preferred.
          • First-time travelers okay if having 3 years experience, with 2 of those in ICU.
          • Prefer prior experience work at a similar size unit ICU.
