Job Description:
Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator Job Specialty: LPC, LCSW,
LMFT Job Duration: 6 months Shift: 4x10 days, options available:
7-5, 8-6, or 6-4 Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 per week Experience:
Minimum of five years of clinical experience, including two years
in a comparable position License: Appropriate LPC, LCSW, LMFT
certification or licensing is required Certifications: Valid
driver's license preferred unless required by contract or
applicable statute Must-Have: Graduate degree in Social Work,
Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area
Job Description: - Conduct mental health screenings and assessments
based on available records and clinical interviews. - Develop,
implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates based
on needs and level of functioning. - Document treatment and
evaluation activities in each individual's health care record. -
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and
information at all times. - Demonstrate thorough knowledge of
psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments
and activities used for individuals. - Provide appropriate mental
health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address
the needs of inmates. - Assist with monthly evaluations, CMHES, and
suicide risk management.
